Seiko 6217-8001 “62Mas”

Stainless steel diver launched in 1965 by Seiko with large tritium filled applied indexes and grey sunburst dial. This is the 8001 ref. with thick engraving dolphin caseback and larger crown.

Overall Condition:

The watch is in great original conditions, unpolished case, dial superbly conserved, tritium has acquired a dirty green patina, the bezel is in good conditions too, scratchfree. Note the rare Maruman “bikechain” bracelet which was used in Japan in the 1960’s.

The watch is sold without the bracelet.

Keeping excellent time but unknown service history.
