Triton J. Spirotechnique
Details:
Stainless steel skindiver case from the 1960’s. It was a paralell model launched by the french brand Triton (Dodane) which created the more famous Triton Spirotechnique diver with the crown at 12 o’clock and a lug protection system. You can see a nice example of that one in the “sold” section. The watch here has a very peculiar red dial, which can appear very bright when the light slightly changes. The good readability was clearly a prerogative when diving.
Overall Condition:
The watch is in good condition overall, with light wear marks consistent with age and use. The glass was changed (original glass with scratches is included) and there is still its original perlon strap. The dial is in outstanding conditions with a dark patina in the middle of it, and the gilt hands are really fabulous.
Dimensions:
37 mm excluding crown.
Movement:
Self-winding movement working very well. Good power reserve.
