Very rare diving watch from circa 1960, with a depth gauge. This one was the third version of this particular model, the first one being with a smaller case, a single crown and arab numerals inside round indexes – old telephone dial look – the second version had the same case as this but a different dial and arrow hands. They were amongst the first watches in history to measure the diving depth, the internal bezel measured the diving time plus of course they told the hour and date!
Overall Condition:
The watch is in overall very good conditions, with light wear marks consistent with age and use. The depthgauge tube is complete and well preserved which is quite rare, but I wouldn’t recommend to try to see if it works underwater! The dial is in excellent conditions, there is a nice patina on the indexes and hands. The internal bezel rotates as it should. The watch comes with a stunning 22mm vintage NOS white Swiss Tropic Sport strap and looks really impressive on the wrist due to its dimensions and shape.

ETA 2472 self-winding movement, keeping precise time and good power reserve.
